Welcome to William Bell Tractors
William Bell (Tractors) Ltd. Was established in 1971 by William Bell who had previously been a sales representative for David Brown Tractors in Dunmurray, Northern Ireland. When we opened for business, it was a small office and workshop on the main street of Fivemiletown. William Bell was appointed as David Brown agent for the area.
Mr Roy Fleming began his employment with the company when it first opened for business and Mr Ronald Montgomery joined later that year, both are still valued members of the staff team. As business continued to grow a new purpose-built site was developed in 1976 on the Clabby Road outside Fivemiletown. William was joined by his wife Vida and sons Samuel and Gordon who continue to run the company today. The business head office is still based at Fivemiletown and is currently employing over 25 full time and some part time staff at this site.
In 1995 in it’s first expansion move the company took over a small parts outlet in Newtownstewart Co Tyrone to continue providing parts facilities to customers in that area. In 2000 this site was relocated to a larger facility offering tractors, machinery, spare parts, service, and repair facilities. There is one full time member of staff with technicians working from the site when required.
In response to Massey Fergusons dealer network changes, we formed as partnership with a similar tractor dealer in Poyntzpass called TH Troughton, where we have increased capacity of this depot currently employing 6 people to offer similar product facilities to the other 2 depots.
Our Business activities comprise of the sale of New and Used Massey Ferguson tractors and machinery, we also trade other tractor and machinery brands. We offer spare parts for Massey Ferguson tractors and other machinery agencies that we sell. Our workshops offer servicing and repair facilities for Massey Ferguson Products and we provide mobile breakdown and routing servicing at customers farms for tractors or machinery that we have supplied. We complete full line dealer for farmers in our region.
